Resumen
La inteligencia artificial (IA) está transformando progresivamente la educación superior mediante la incorporación de herramientas tecnológicas que mejoran los procesos de enseñanza, aprendizaje y gestión institucional. Este estudio presenta una revisión bibliográfica que analiza las principales oportunidades, desafíos e implicaciones éticas asociadas con la implementación de la inteligencia artificial en la educación superior. La metodología se basó en el análisis de literatura científica reciente publicada entre 2020 y 2025 en bases de datos académicas reconocidas. Los resultados muestran que las tecnologías de IA contribuyen al desarrollo del aprendizaje personalizado, los sistemas de tutoría inteligente, la analítica del aprendizaje y la evaluación automatizada, lo que favorece el compromiso estudiantil y el rendimiento académico. No obstante, la literatura también identifica desafíos importantes, como la limitada competencia digital de los docentes, la necesidad de infraestructura tecnológica adecuada y las preocupaciones relacionadas con la integridad académica. Asimismo, el uso creciente de la IA plantea implicaciones éticas relacionadas con la privacidad de los datos, el sesgo algorítmico, la transparencia y la responsabilidad en los sistemas educativos.
