About the Journal
Technology Rain Journal ISSN 2953-464X, indexed in Latindex Catalog 2.0 is a Journal focused on the area of Computer Science and engineering, with special emphasis on networks, computer auditing, telecommunications infrastructure, Digital Preservation, and Statistics Applied to Engineering. It has a semiannual periodicity with an annual volume of two issues. Our journal is edited by the Kolibri publishing house, in agreement with the Computer and Forensic Research Institute of Ecuador. Non-profit entities.
Original and unpublished articles are published, and evaluated by peers, our evaluation process is designed to ensure efficiency and speed in the review of works, having scientific, technical, and professional rigor as an essential premise. All submitted works are subject to peer review in the DOUBLE BLIND modality.

TARGET AUDIENCES:
Technology Rain Journal publishes articles by researchers, scientists, undergraduate, graduate, and postdoctoral students; teachers and professionals, national and international, whose purpose is to expand knowledge in engineering and computing:
- A broad field of Engineering, Industries, and Construction
- Broad field of Information and Communication Technologies
- Related areas and transversal scientific work with the areas
Articles other than Spanish and English will be received.
EVALUATION SYSTEM
Articles must be original and unpublished and are subject to external evaluators. To referee the articles, the publisher uses double-blind peer evaluation; where the evaluators do not know the identity of the authors of the articles, and the authors do not know the identity of the evaluators. The Evaluators are external to the publishing house.
OPEN ACCESS POLICY
All the publisher's publications will be open access and you will not need to pay to view them.

To guarantee a harmonious relationship between the parties involved and guarantee the quality of the content, Technology Rain Journal urges authors, reviewers, as well as members of the Editorial Committee and the International Council, to maintain the highest standards of integrity. intellectual and scientific.

Director's Obligations:
Consult the Editorial Committee to resolve problems related to the magazine's editorial policy.
Call the Editorial Committee to ordinary meetings with a minimum frequency of once a month.
Provide official proof to the reviewers for each opinion issued.

Ensure that the publishing process complies with copyright regulations.

Obligations of the Editorial Committee:
Select and assign reviewers of the works received by the journal, based on their experience as researchers on the corresponding topic.
Communicate to the authors the results of the evaluation process to which the work received by the journal has been subjected.
Keep the identity of the reviewers confidential.
Reject those collaboration proposals that are published in other printed or electronic journals, as well as those that constitute total or partial plagiarism.
Carry out a basic assessment of the works received before sending them for external review and notify the authors of this decision.
Resolve conflicts that may arise in the evaluation and editing process, relying on the recommendations of the Committee on Publications Ethics (COPE).
Propose initiatives that lead to an improvement of the magazine in its different aspects: quality, visibility, and presentation.
Assist in the editing process
Reviewer obligations:
Declare and explain, if any, a conflict of interest to make your opinion.
Treat the text whose review you have been assigned under terms of confidentiality.
Maintain the secret of your participation as a reviewer even after the work has been published.
Do not transfer your role as a reviewer to other researchers.
Issue your verdict according to the merits or weaknesses of the assigned text, relying on the opinion format that is at your disposal.
Send the results of your evaluation within the period established by the magazine.
Do not quote or copy the text that has been entrusted to you.
Authors' obligations:
Send unpublished collaboration proposals, which are not found in other editorial processes.
Follow the Posting Guidelines.
Sign and provide the NON-EXCLUSIVE USE LICENSE document in digital format once your work has been accepted for publication.
Correct, expand or improve your texts, once they have been accepted for publication, taking into account the reviewers' observations.
Send corrections to your texts within the period requested by the magazine.
The author must acknowledge the research funding entity
Authors must declare their contribution to authorship by the internationally established taxonomy for assigning credit to authors of scientific articles (https://credit.niso.org/).
The following behaviors are considered unacceptable:
Plagiarism: partial or total reproduction of work other than the researcher who proposes it, whether published or not, without credit to the author. Any text that commits plagiarism will be rejected.
Simultaneous application of the same article for different publications: the identification of this will result in the disqualification of the article as a candidate for publication or in the automatic withdrawal of the opinion process as the case may be.
Corruption or manipulation of ruling processes. If a conflict of interest is detected in an opinion, said result will be annulled and the reviewer involved will be reassigned. After this, it will be assigned to another reviewer.
Indication or suggestion in the opinion, by the reviewer, that own publications be taken into account to enrich or improve some aspect of the reviewed work.
